RON IRWIN was born in Chicago, Illinois
in 1945. By 1949 he was helping his dad develop film in their basement lab. Over the years Ron went on to serve
in the United States Marine Corps including a tour in Vietnam. He also obtained his pilot's license, practiced law,
hosted a talk radio show and was CEO of a small public company. But through it all Ron maintained his passion for photography.
In the mid seventies Ron also began getting involved in the emerging video world. Today he stays very busy in both still
photography and videography.
 Ron's youngest daughter Kari, in addition to her great talent and passion
in acting and singing, also shares her dad's love of photography. She took the above candid photograph of dad while
on a recent video expedition.
